Title: Senior Business Analyst (supporting Retail IT Risk)
Duration: 6+ months contract, possibly longer
Location: Columbus OH
Rate: $30/hr C2C (all-inclusive)
Must have IT Risk, Operational Risk, Info Security, SOX remediation, or IT Audit experience.
Senior Business Analyst (supporting Retail IT Risk)
Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems. Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective. Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation. Develops and executes systems testing. Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Analyst supporting Retail IT Risk you will be in responsible for participating in the Identity & Access Application Maturity Program which is intended to deploy use of consistent IAM tools and processes across all of Retail’s LOBs. The primary function of the job will be to monitor data feeds, perform tool integration QA and review of data through regular sampling, and executing follow-up on KPIs outside of acceptable limits.
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline
· 5+ years of related business experience
· 2+ years of Information Risk Management or Business Audit experience.
· Excellent communicator, process driven, and at ease with technology.
· Strong analytical mind and approach to problem solving.
· Experience with functional analysis and formal analysis techniques; requirements gathering; use case development, business flow
· Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite including Visio, Excel, Access
· Basic understanding of system development life cycle.
· Familiar with both client server and internet technology projects.
· An understanding of high-level system and business architecture.
· Ability to multi-task effectively
· Understanding of the information technology control policies a must
· Project and/or Program Management background in financial services preferred
