Title: Senior Web 2.0 Client-Side Developer
Duration: 18+ months
Location: Keller TX
The senior Web2.0 Client-Side developer will join a team of architects/develope rs/designers working on the implementation of new clearing/risk management applications using Web2.0 technologies: ExtJS 3.0, JSON, Spring MVC, Java, DB2. An architecture framework has been built in house already on top of these technologies to standardize the usage and enhance the functionality provided by the underlying frameworks - a number of clearing applications were developed using this architecture framework. The new developer will help with making further enhancements/ extensions to the existing architecture framework to meet new user requirements, development of new client-side plugins and promote the adoption of coding patterns that improve the maintainability of JavaScript client-side code. The role also involves active development of new GUI applications and maintenance of existing ones.
Required - Strong JavaScript/Web 2.0/AJAX experience (ExtJS, JSON, AJAX) ( 2-4+ years)
Required - Strong problem solving and communication skills
Required - Strong client-side architecture and reusable GUI components design/implementati on experience (2-4+years)
Required - Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development ( 3+ years)
Required - Strong Visual Design/User Interface skills (2+ years)
Preferred - Java/Spring MVC Experience (2-3+ years)
Preferred - SQL/DB2 experience (2+ years)
